“Innovation and technology happens with what we built here. We are here to help our customers succeed and it all starts at our core, with our own employees. This environment is collaborative, fun, open and stimulating – exactly what fuels creativity for our customers, helps us attract top-tier talent and gives us a competitive advantage.”

—Blake Irving, GoDaddy Chief Executive

Website hosting company GoDaddy leased a 150,000-square-foot space in the Arizona State University Research Park to house its developers and its customer service call center. This new Global Technology Center needed to incorporate the firm’s system technology and security, while also creating open, collaborative work environments and conveying the firm’s sense of playful energy.

A two-story atrium creates a central gathering area, home to a full-service café with a variety of seating types and groupings. The space is bright and open, with more than 80 feet of 12-foot-high, sliding-glass open wall systems that fill the atrium with natural light and allow interior and exterior spaces to merge seamlessly. A figure-eight pathway loops diagonally through the building’s central core complete with adult-sized company braded GoDaddy peddle carts, suggesting a racetrack and underscoring the company’s competitive spirit. It links an abundance of amenities, including gaming areas, a workout gym, a yoga studio, private phone booths, platform bleacher seating, and even a galvanized steel slide from the second to first floor. The center reflects the company’s culture so well, it is now recognized and referred to as its flagship building.
