Redevelopment of existing real estate assets, often in premier locations, offer developers many opportunities to increase, and tap into, unrealized value of properties. However, repositioning structures-including those built more than 30 years ago-can present complex challenges.

SmithGroupJJR's workplace design Andrew Rollman shares a case study of successful redevelopment in an article titled,

"1200 Nineteenth: Creating Modern Curb Appeal." Follow the story of a tired, 1960s office building in the Capitol-city, and the resulting transformation that positioned this property as a trophy-class, Class A asset.
